Important Note: Travelers will be provided entry into the U.S. Capitol building on all tours. Please note that the Library of Congress is closed during the 8am tours, and on Mondays. Travelers will instead visit the U.S. Capitol Museum on this day of the week and tour time, and will also be able to view the Library of Congress exterior during their tour.

Most of the tour takes place outdoors. Please plan for the weather—umbrellas are recommended.


Washington, D.C. can be very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, so please dress accordingly.
